Step-by-Step: How to Fill Choices

  1. Visit the official website: tneaonline.org
  2. Login using your credentials
  3. Navigate to “Round 2 Choice Filling”
  4. Browse through available colleges and branches
  5. Add courses in your preferred order
  6. Lock your choices before the deadline (July 28)

Note: Once locked, choices cannot be changed.


What Happens After Choice Filling?

  • On July 29, the tentative seat allotment result will be released
  • You must confirm your allotment and choose either:
    • Accept and join, or
    • Opt for upward movement to try for a better seat
  • Confirmation must be done by July 30
  • If no action is taken, your allotment will be cancelled

Final Seat Allotment and Reporting

  • July 31: Final seat allotment result will be released
  • From July 31 to August 4, you must report to:
    • Your allotted college, or
    • A nearby TNEA Facilitation Centre (TFC) for verification

Make sure you carry all required documents, including:

  • 10th and 12th Mark Sheets
  • Transfer Certificate

What is Seat Upgradation?

  • If you chose upward movement, a revised allotment result will be declared on August 7

  • If no better seat is available, your previous allotment stands
